Illustrated Handouts and Section 508

X-Plain illustrated handouts and tutorials are Section 508 compliant (a requirement by government websites and other websites to make information on the website available to people with disabilities). All illustrations are tagged in English and Spanish. The text reader can read the full textual content and the content of the illustrations to users who cannot read them because of visual acuity problems or illiteracy.

This is one of the techniques we use to make X-Plain the most accessible patient education software, capable of reaching the widest possible audience.
